ALJAWAL triples MMS capacity to 400 kilo bytes

The number of Multimedia Message Service (MMS) providers who have signed MMS sending and receiving agreements with ALJAWAL now amounts to 79 operators in 43 countries around the world. At the same time, ALJAWAL has tripled MMSs capacity from 100 kilo bytes to 400 kilo bytes

This major advance in scope is part ALJAWAL’s plan to expand international coverage through agreements with service providers, allowing its customers to send and receive pictures, audio files, video clips and long SMSs.

In pace with the continuous changes in the IT and communications sector, ALJAWAL is keeping a step ahead by being the only company which offers its MMS service for its postpaid and prepaid lines without any additional fees, compared to most other telecommunications companies which charge their customers when their amount exceeds 100 kilo bytes, with the costs increasing as the message capacity gets bigger.

Customers from outside ALJAWAL can benefit from this valuable offer by transferring their lines to ALJAWAL. The MMS service can be activated by sending a free SMS including the number 1000 to 902. Alternatively, customers can get the required cell phone settings by sending a free SMS including the letters MMS to 2222. Further information about ALJAWAL MMS service can be obtained online by logging on to the website www.mms.net.sa.
